In Spring 2003, we had a blockbuster lupine year due to late rains and cool temperatures. Check out the dogs enjoying these beautiful wildflowers along our trail system.

In December, Benita's younger sister Larissa moved to California from New Jersey. She is staying with us while she finds a house of her own. She brings along two rescued Australian Shepherds, and a 13-year-old Rottweiler named Buddy. It's quite a posse!

Here is our new puppy Jillaroo. She is an Australian Shepherd (like Cookie), and Jillaroo is an Aussie word for 'cowgirl'. We picked her out when she was only a few weeks old, but then she came to her new home when she was about 8 weeks.
